Project “Uddan”- A Leap Towards Self Reliance Digital literacy workshops were conducted this month under the empowerment programme. The said program was implemented at the Pragati Foundation training center at Juinagar with the support of Mr. and Mrs. Abhijit Desai, social workers from Navi Mumbai and Pragati Foundation Executive Director Mrs. Siddhi Kiran Rane. In this workshop women were introduced to basic computer knowledge as well as digital technology. Internet, email, online banking services, online shopping, social media, railway ticket booking, online government schemes etc. were taught to the women participants in the workshop. All the women who successfully completed the ten days training were felicitated with certificates. The training was conducted free of charge to the women.
