The Corona epidemic had caused depression everywhere in the atmosphere, slowly and gradually bringing our life back to normal. A special event was organized today under the Project UDDAN (Flying towards self-reliance- Empowerment of women) through Pragati Foundation to mark the upcoming International Women’s Day. It was two days celebration of Social events.
It included seminars on the topic of personal hygiene, women’s safety law guidance as well as various entertaining and fun games.
The winning women were honored with various gifts. All women who present in the event were given hand pouches & Water bottles as gifts. Project Director Siddhi Rane and other dignitaries Usha Pandey, Geeta Khandare, and Priyanka Navani through Pragati Foundation were present in the event.
All the participants were served with snacks. The event was celebrated following all the rules about Corona. The event was co-sponsored by Shri Hari Har Putrabhajan Samajmandal. thank you very much for the support and efforts taken by the volunteers.
Although International Women’s Day will be on Monday, March 8, women could not participate in the event as Monday will be a working day. That is why International Women’s Day celebrated today on Saturday, two days before the actual date.
