In Zilla Parishad schools across India, particluralry in Maharashtra state, access to reliable electricity remains a significant challenge, particularly in rural and remote areas. Many schools experience frequent power outages or have limited access to the electrical grid. The installation of solar panels addresses the pressing need for sustainable energy solutions in these schools. By harnessing solar power, ZP schools can overcome the limitations of conventional electricity supply, ensuring uninterrupted power for lighting, fans, and essential electronic equipment. Solar panel installation not only reduces electricity costs but also aligns with national and state-level initiatives promoting renewable energy adoption, contributing to India’s commitment to sustainable development and energy independence.

School Solar Setup

Project Activities

School Kits Program

We distribute school kits that include School Bag which includes Notebook, Drawing Book, Compass Box, Geometry box, Scale, Crayons, Pen, Pencil, Sharpener, Eraser, Tiffin Box and Water Bottle etc., to these students in tribal and rural areas. These kits not only equip them with the essentials but also motivate them to attend school regularly.

Scholarship Program

This component aims to enable academically gifted students in urban, semi-urban, and metro cities to pursue their education by alleviating the financial burden of school fees.

We identify promising students with a strong desire to excel academically. Through our scholarship program, we provide financial assistance to cover school fees, books, and other educational expenses.
