About the Project
“Disha – Every Child Go to School” programs are specifically designed for children aged 3 to 12 years who are under difficult circumstances. This includes children engaged in child labour, underprivileged students, children from farming families, those born to parents in extreme poverty, children with rare disabilities, those affected by natural disasters, and slum children from urban areas. These initiatives aim to provide these children with the opportunity to receive a formal education, which is essential for shaping a brighter future and empowering their families to break the cycle of poverty.
Need of Program
In India, there is a stark disparity in access to quality education, with underprivileged children in tribal and rural areas facing immense challenges in obtaining basic education essentials. Similarly, talented students in urban and semi-urban areas are often unable to fulfill their academic potential due to financial constraints. Project DISHA addresses these gaps and strives to ensure equitable access to education for all, regardless of their economic circumstances.
School Kits Program
School Kits Program aims to encourage childerens and there parents for every go to school, by providing free School KIT to underprivileged students and gives importance of education by alleviating the financial burden of school expenses. These kits not only equip them with the essentials but also motivate them to attend school regularly. We distribute school kits that include School Bag, Notebook, Drawing Book, Compass Box, Geometry box, Scale, Crayons, Pen, Pencil, Sharpener, Eraser, Tiffin Box and Water Bottle etc., to these students in tribal and rural areas.
Scholarship Program
Scholership program aims to enable academically gifted students in urban, semi-urban, and metro cities to pursue their education by alleviating the financial burden of school fees, which they can not afford due to low family income. Through our scholarship program, we provide financial assistance to cover school fees, books, and other educational expenses with helping them unlock their full potential and become future leaders.
