A bakery products training workshop for needy women and women members of self-help groups in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai was organized under the Women’s Empowerment Project “UDDAN – A Leap to Self-Reliance” organized by Pragatee Foundation and sponsored by B4.
The two-days workshop was held on 11 April 2022 and 12 April 2022 at Abhinandan Hall, Nerul for the Juinagar Navi Mumbai areas needy women.
It was inaugurated by corporator Ranganath Auti and social worker Shashikala Auti. Also present on the occasion were social activists Ganesh Ghag, Krishna Dhumal, and Rajesh Pujari, Mrinali Chavan, Rakesh Wani, Kiran Rane and Siddhi Rane.
President Kiran Rane explained the purpose of the workshop organized under the project “UDDAN – A Leap to Self Reliance”.
Training workshops on these bakery products have been organized at various places through Pragati Foundation in collaboration with B4U.
April 11, 2022 was the first day of the 3RD workshop in a row. On the first day, they were taught how to make cakes and chocolates, and on 12th April 2022, the second day of the workshop, they were taught how to make biscuits and the participants were asked to make cakes. The best five contestants were honored with prizes.
On the second day of the workshop, Priyanka Bhushan, Yashada, Sanket and Heena from B4U were present. Pragatee Foundation President Kiran Rane and Executive Director Siddhi Rane and Social Worker Shashikala Auti Madam distributed certificates to all the trainees and guided them on self help groups and business opportunities.
All the women participants appreciated the workshop and thanked Pragatee Foundation and B4U.
