Pragatee foundation is one of the trusts for social, health and education Development; find out such affected areas and organize a free medical camp, free medical distribution camp etc. Pragatee foundation’s survey team found that there are areas where diseases are there but because of poor background, people are not able to take proper treatment and medicines. Even today there are many cases that come forward of Diabetes, malaria, cancer, kidney stone surgery, dengue, lepto etc.
On 1st September 2013, Pragatee foundation, Mumbai and MartandDevasthan Trust (Jejuri), Pune and KBHB bachooali Eye Hospital, Parel Jointly organized Free medical checkup and Free Specs distribution and free registration for various Surgery and operation at jejuri Village Tal: Jejuri, Dist: Pune, between morning 11:00 A.M. to Evening 03:00 P.M.
Pragatee foundation selected qualified doctors’ team under Dr Geetanjali Mahadik. There were 10 volunteers and 2 Team Leaders appointed to control and manage this camp. In this camp also appointed KBHB bachooali Eye Hospital, Parel. All local arrangements managed by Human Rights Forum organization and their local social workers. This Camp was successfully organized and approximately 200-250 people were checked-up. Many patients registered in the camp for Cataract surgery and Retina surgery will be brought in operated FREE OF COST at KBHB bachooali Eye Hospital, Parel.
The main objective to organize this camp To improve access of Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) families to quality medical care for identified speciality services requiring hospitalization for following surgeries and therapies or consultations in free of cost in KBHB bachooali Eye Hospital, Parel.
