Launching ceremony of UDDAN and 8th Foundation Day Celebration on 14th July 2013 at VashiVishnudasBhave Auditorium, Navi Mumbai. The function was held in the presence of Hon. Thane District Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik (Min. of Excise duty, Govt. of Maharashtra), Mr. VikasMahadik (President, Navi Mumbai Marathi PatrakarSangh), Mr. Kiran Rane (President Pragatee Foundation), Mr. N. D. Patil (Secretary, Pragatee Foundation), Dr. Bhaskar Dhatavkar (CEO, Pragatee Foundation), Mr. Atul Mane (Senior Reporter, Loksatta) and Corporator Shree RanganathAuti (Ward No. 66, Navi Mumbai Mahanagar Palika).

On its 8th Foundation Day Celebration, Pragatee Foundation has been launched its ambitious project about the empowerment of Women called a “UDDAN ” – Flying towards Self-reliance ( Ek Jhep Swavlamban kade). Mrs. Sayali Kadam, Dr. GeetanjaliMahadik, and Mrs. PawanpreetDuggal were nominated as coordinators for implementing project UDDAN.
