“MISSION FOR IT LITERACY” is a prime objective of the Pragatee Foundation. Achieving its object and promoting a good technological IT Education program in rural areas is always the foundation’s prime task. Computer Teacher Training Activity is very vital in School level IT Education but unfortunately, there is no single diploma available. By considering this fact Pragatee foundation designed and developed a Diploma for computer teachers and recognized through Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. YCMOU appointed Pragatee foundation as a service provider and started this program in Maharashtra.
In the month of December 2011 Pragatee Foundation and YCMOU organized the Centre Orientation program for the DCA course in Nasik. The program was organized to train and guide appointed study centres related to the DCA program. There were a total of forty center representatives attending the event. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Krishna Kumar, Computer Department Director Shri. R. S. Tiwari, Student Council Head Shri N. R. Shinde and Pragatee Foundation’s President Shri. Kiran Rane was guided to all Centre representatives. The program was organized in University’s Nashik premises.
