On this day around the globe, hundreds of organizations had host events to draw attention to the global health workforce crisis and celebrate the dignity and value of working for health.
The Pragatee Foundation, Mumbai have been also taking an active participant to bring this awareness and orientation programs.
Pragatee foundation has arranged a free seminar and free medicine distribution camp in Worli slum areas. About 100 health workers from Mumbai and Thane districts have attended the camp. Pragatee foundation has distributed almost all types of medicines to poor and needy people. 3 Doctors’ teams were working under the supervision of the Trustee and founder member Dr. Baba L. Meshram.
We have distributed all medicine around Rs.50, 000/- (Fifty thousand only) absolutely free. World health day is the perfect day to examine and cure the poor and needy patients.
