Our latest initiative under the Disha Program has been “My Village, My Pride”, it speaks for itself. We want to make free quality education accessible to rural areas. To do this, Pragatee Foundation with the help of its donors has already provided computer sets, solar panels and access to clean drinking water to schools in these areas. These were provided under the IVI and B4 UCSR project in Sudagad, Raigad district.
Today, Pragatee Foundation is proud to say that we have set up an audio-visual lab in Rajya Zilla Parishad School, Talai. This is done primarily in hopes of making learning more enjoyable for the tribal students. A 43″ inch smart TV set, four wall fans and ten chairs were provided to the school.
President of Pragatee Foundation Kiran Rane was ecstatic and expressed that “This initiative will benefit the students in rural areas to achieve educational development via the latest tools”. The present parents, dignitaries and villagers also were lauding the initiative taken by The Pragatee Foundation. But, this wouldn’t have happened without our donors Mrs Jaya Poonwani and The Shri Hari Har Putra Bhajan Samaj, who apart from donating also helped set up the lab.
