Courtesy of Pragatee Foundation Mumbai (Reg.) and in collaboration with B4U, two-day culinary workshops have been organized at three different locations in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, i e Nerul, Juinagar and Kurla under the program “UDDAN – One Leap to Self-Reliance” for needy and underprivileged women.
These workshops will be held from 6th April 2022 to 12th April 2022.
The first workshop has been organized at Nerul Abhinandan Hall Sector -2 on 6th April and 7th April 2022 from 1pm to 4pm.
Bakery products will be taught in the workshop.
This includes making cakes, making chocolates and making biscuits.
On the second day of each workshop, the trainees will take part in a cake making competition and the winners will receive incentive prizes.
It will also provide business guidance to women in self-help groups through industry experts.

*Nerul* : The workshop in Nerul received a spontaneous response from the women.
The program was inaugurated by local social activist Abhijit Desai, president of the Pragatee Foundation Kiran Rane and executive director of the women’s section of the organization Siddhi Rane.
On 1St day of the workshop trainer Rashmi and Vaishali trained the participants about cake and chocolate making recipes.
On the next day of the workshop biscuits making training was conducted by the trainers. Also a competition of cake making was conducted.
The women were guided by Manjusha Parab, a self help group expert and head of Lakhsapurti Federation.
Prizes/Gifts were awarded to the winners of the competition and all the participating trainees were honored with Skill India certificates. Approximately 60 women benefited through this workshop which was conducted in Nerul. . .
Our Next workshop will be conducted at Kurla on 8th April and 9th April.
