Like every year on the Republic Day, Pragatee Foundation and Vimal Foundation in partnership organized a mega health camp for the community people of Navi Mumbai at their doorstep. The specialty of the camp was that all services from general health check-ups to the ECG were provided free of cost at the camp. These included general body tests, blood pressure, diabetes detection, dentistry, ophthalmology, cardiovascular examination, profile checking, specs numbers, cataract examination, Ayurvedic specialist doctor consultation, and drug allocation, etc… Also, an ECG inspection of the incoming camper was done if necessary. Besides, free medicines were also distributed.

A blood donation camp was also organized on the occasion of Republic Day, based on the concept of “One Drop Country.” More than 60 people have donated their blood. Organizers Mr. Kiran Rane and Mr. Prakash Dhasal set an example for the entire society by donating blood. More than 300 people benefited from the camp.

Reputed health organizations from Navi Mumbai also participated in this camp with their doctor’s team, this included the Millennium Hospital, Dr. D.Y. Patil Ayurvedic Hospital, KBHB Bachu Ali Eye Hospital, Thyaro Care, and Sadguru Blood Bank.

NMMC Mayor Hon. Shri. Jaywantji Sutar was present as a chief guest of the program. This program was attended by local corporators Mrs. Tanujatai Madhvi and Mrs. Madhuritai Sutar, B division committee member, Vijay Salle, MNS women sub-city president Mrs. Anitha Naidu and subdivision president Vidya Inamdar. Millennium Hospital Director Dr. Venkatesh Hancate and Dr. Hancate Madam also attended and provided services at the camp. The ITM Institute of Health Science, Panvel also supported this camp, with their college students of Health Sciences Dept. carrying out the responsibility of health workers in the camp.
