Satara: Pragatee Foundation, Mumbai (Reg.) is working for the development of underprivileged area communities since its establishment. In Maharashtra especially in the rural part of Maharashtra, the conditions of the farmer are not good, hence they ignore the studies of their children. An expensive educational material is not affordable to them. Considering this fact, Pragatee Foundation has decided to distribute Free educational kits to farmer’s children.

On 13th July 2019, more than hundreds of school kits were distributed to underprivileged students from the village Godewadi (Varugad) in the Satara district. The kit contained one school bag, ten notebooks, a pen, a pencil, a compass box, napkin, towel, water bag, tiffin box and an umbrella.

Pragatee Foundation’s School department in-charge Mrs. Siddhi Kiran Rane, Members Mr. Pranay Dhamal, Sagar Dhamal and Administrator Mr. Rakesh Wani were present during the kit distribution program. This social event was organized in association with Local NGO Baliraja Samajik Aani Bahuuddeshiy Sanstha and supported by Harihar Putra Bhajan Samaj Mandal.
