Free Medical Health Checkup, Medicine Distribution Camp and Various Free Surgery Camp :UBM Church(Bhandup) , Mumbai
Pragatee foundation is one of the trusts for social, health and education Development; find out such affected areas and organized free medical camp, free medical distribution camp etc. Pragatee foundation’s survey team found that there are areas where diseases are there but because of poor background people are not able to take proper treatment and medicines. Even today there are many cases come forward of Diabetes, malaria, cancer, kidney stone surgery, dengue, lepto etc.
On 17th October 2015, Pragatee foundation, Mumbai and UBM Church,(Bhandup) Mumbai and Sevenhills Hospital (Under the Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana (RGJAY)) Jointly organized Free medical checkup and Free medicine distribution and free registration for various Surgery and operation at Bhandup Tal :Mumbai Sub, Dist :Mumbai, between morning 09:00 A.M. to Evening 3:00 P.M.
Pragatee foundation selected qualified doctors’ team under Dr. Geetangali Mahadik & under Chinmay Chavan (Co-ordinator of Pragatee Foundation). There were 10 volunteers and 2 Team Leaders appointed to control and manage this camp. In this camp also appointed Seven Hill Hospital Team under Dr. Rajiv Malgundkar. All local arrangement managed by Human Rights Forum organixation and their local social workers. This Camp was successfully organized and approximately 200-250 people were check-up. Many patients registered in the camp for angioplasty / bypass heart surgery will be brought in operated FREE OF COST at SEVENHILL HOSPITAL
The main objective to organized this camp To improve access of Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) families to quality medical care for identified speciality services requiring hospitalization for following surgeries and therapies or consultations in free of cost in SEVENHILLS HOSPITAL, Mumbai.
